Our experiences with Janindu Hansala, the driver of our tour 17 days

Janindu was contacted via this website & live chat with Janindu went very well in advance. Friendly tone and quick response and everything was clear. We had some doubts about the price, but in retrospect the quality and price ratio is good. Janindu Hansaka is a friendly, helpful and open person who takes his job very seriously. He drives carefully and explains everything we saw. Along the way he surprises us by buying coconut water for us and often stops to explain about trees and shrubs. Janindu is easily accessible and always on time for appointments. He gave us a lot of background information about Sri Lanka. He takes care of us, arranges seats, shows us around a temple, chooses restaurants at our request. He senses when we don't want anything for a while. In short, we are very satisfied with the service and recommend everyone to travel with this driver.

I highly recommend Janindu to all travellers

When I found out the annual off-site was in Sri Lanka, I felt a mix of happiness and worry since I didn't know much about the country. I needed a reliable travel company to handle the logistics, transportation, and meals for our trip. Fortunately, I was very grateful to discover Janindu on srilankacarwithdriverhire.com. The company's founder was highly responsible, and his team is both professional and friendly. Their buses are new, safe, and clean. All the tour guides were extremely amiable, spoke excellent English, and performed their duties superbly. They were always punctual in picking us up and meticulously organized everything. I particularly recall one guide who loved to sing - we invited him to sing on the bus, and it created a wonderfully upbeat atmosphere.

Wonderful Two-month Tour

We have just completed our wonderful two-month tour of Sri Lanka and I want to say a big thank you to the Janindu who have looked after us so well. From the very beginning when we sent an outline itinerary to Janindu he made helpful suggestions and at every hotel we stayed at we were welcomed and expected. His bookings seem to have been perfect and faultless. We were welcomed at Bandaranaike International Airport by him and since that day he has looked after us extremely well. His timekeeping has been very good; he was always where we wanted him to be at exactly the right moment. He has kept his car spotlessly clean inside and out, always had the AC running when the weather was hot, and made sure that we always had bottles of fresh drinking water. His driving is very good and always safe. In the back seat we never were concerned despite the fast, close driving of others, especially busses. He was aware of our needs including finding suitable ‘comfort breaks’ including many Pizza Huts! We have learned a great deal from Janindu. Even though we are experienced Sri Lanka travellers we had never been to the north west, and with his background Janindu was able to explain some of the country’s ethnic difficulties without ever complaining or taking sides. We were honoured to meet his immediate family at Luccombe on the Mousakellie Estate and to hear about his childhood and upbringing. He is most knowledgeable about the whole country and we particularly enjoyed visiting Temples, Churches and Shrines. We wish him well as he rises up the ranks of Qualified Guides. Finally we thank you for the special arrangements made for our Wedding Anniversary ar Tangalle - they made for an unforgettable evening. With warm regards, Tony and Judith Peters
